Chlorine DPD liquid discoloration measurement

1. After cleaning the color comparator, take the water sample and add it to the middle container to the scale line. (Water intake 20ml, 1 drop =0.2ppm; Water 40ml,

1. drop =0.1ppm)

2. add 5 drops of DPD-1, 5 drops of DPD-2, stir and mix, there will be a red color

when free chlorine.

3. Drop in DPD-D, stirring and counting drops at the same time, until the red color

becomes colorless.

4. multiply the number of drops in step 3 by 0.2, that is, the free residual chlorine

concentration ppm (FC).

5. Add another 5 drops of DPD-3, which will turn red again if there is combined

chlorine present.

6. Add DPD-D again, stirring and counting drops at the same time, until the red

color becomes colorless.

7. The number of drops in step 6 multiplied by 0.2, that is the combined chlorine

concentration ppm (CC).

PH measurement

1. After cleaning the color comparator, take the water sample to the scale line in

the left sink.

2. Add 5 drops of PH, cap and reverse the tester to mix twice.

3. Read the PH value after comparing the color plate.

Note: When the chlorine concentration exceeds 5ppm, there will be uncertainty error, please reduce to below 3ppm before measuring.
